Trivia Night: 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Tulyp, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, 61 E. Seventh St., Holland. Join us for trivia every Monday on the fifth floor of the Tulyp Hotel downtown Holland. The bar is open for food and drinks. It is free to play, and the winning team gets $30 to spend at the 1847 Lounge.
Trivia Night: 7-9 p.m. at Itty Bitty Bar, 1136 Ottawa Beach Road, Holland. Join us at the Itty Bitty Bar for a night of drinking, eating, socializing and trivia questions (about anything). Holland Farmers Market: 8 a.m.-2 p.m. at Holland Civic Center Place, 150 W. Eighth St., Holland. The Holland Farmers Market is located at the Eighth Street Market Place in downtown Holland and is home to over 75 vendors throughout the season. Local farmers offer freshly picked fruits and vegetables of every variety, beautiful bouquets of flowers and plants for home and garden. A wide variety of baked goods (including breads, pies and cookies), all-natural honey and maple syrup and farm-fresh cheese, eggs, and meats are also available, in addition to sweet treats, gourmet specialty foods and much, much more.

Spring Lake Farmers Market: 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at Tanglefoot Park, 312 W. Exchange, Spring Lake. The Spring Lake Farm & Garden Market features local, Michigan-grown produce, fresh flowers, artisan cheeses, baked goods, and meats, providing farmers and small business owners an opportunity to sell their fresh produce directly to customers.
Community Tulip Planting: 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at Window on the Waterfront, 85 E. Sixth St., Holland. Join Tulip Time Festival and the City of Holland Parks Department for fall planting of tulip bulbs at the Window on the Waterfront. Grab your gardening gloves and boots, dress for the weather, and meet us at Window on the Waterfront. Family groups will be placed together. Zeeland's Pumpkin Fest Gone Country is an annual fall festival featuring downtown activities such as live music, food vendors, a parade, kid-friendly events (face painting, tractor pulls, pumpkin roll), and family fun with horse-drawn rides and performers, organized by Zeeland Festivals. Thanksgiving Ceramic Platter Painting: 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Holland Area Arts Council, 150 E. Eighth St., Ste. 200, Holland. Want to paint a pre-fired platter for your perfect Thanksgiving table? Look no further than Holland Area Arts Center’s Thanksgiving platter painting class. Tickets are $35 per person and there are still spots available.
Knick Film Series: Union County: 7-9 p.m. at Knickerbocker Theatre, 86 E. Eighth St., Holland. In a small, Ohio rural town that was hit hard by the opioid epidemic, two brothers, Cody (Will Poulter) and Jack Parsons (Noah Centineo), find themselves dealing with a court-mandated drug rehabilitation program. The two brothers find connection with a supportive counselor (Annette Deao) who inspires the brothers to work toward a brighter, sober future. Poulter and Centineo blend seamlessly with a supporting cast of mostly non-professional actors, who bring their own authentic experiences, struggles, and hopes to life as they navigate the program. The filmmaker Adam Meeks, who was born in Ohio, creates a film imbued with realism for an honest, compassionate portrait of a battle being fought across America and the solidarity that flowers on its front lines. Adults $9; seniors $7.

Support local at our seasonal market, where West Michigan farmers offer freshly-picked fruits and vegetables, enjoy a wide variety of artisan baked goods, all-natural honey, maple syrup, farm fresh eggs, cheese, and meats. There will also be healthy snacks, micro-greens, preserves, gluten-free, vegan, dips and much, much more.
Art á Loan 2026: 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at Saugatuck Center for the Arts, 400 Culver St., Saugatuck. Celebrating 30 years, the Art à Loan program is returning to the Saugatuck Center for the Arts to feature work from Saugatuck Public School students. The Art à Loan pieces are selected by area art professionals and are composed of student artists ranging from grades Kindergarten through 12th grade. Knee-high Naturalists: 10-11:30 a.m. at Outdoor Discovery Center, 4214 56th St., Holland. Knee-high Naturalists introduce the wonders of the natural world to young children. Crafts, activities, books, snacks, live animals, and outside exploration will be incorporated into their nature-based learning experience. Parents can drop off their 4- to 6-year-old or stay with the class. Parents or guardians are asked to attend with their 3-year-old to help with bathroom use and transitioning into a group learning environment. Suggested age range is 3-6 years old. Guardians drop children off or stay with the class. Registration is required. Register and pay for attending children only (except infants). Fee: $10 per child, $5 for members.

Witches & Warlocks Night Out: 5-8 p.m. in downtown Grand Haven. Grab your broomsticks and get ready for a magical night out in downtown and Centertown. Witches & Warlocks Night Out takes place with an evening full of shopping, dining, activities and Halloween fun. Start the night at The Brass River for the Witches Walk down Washington Avenue, or pick up your Spellbook at a designated location and create your own adventure. Use your Spellbook to visit participating businesses, collect signatures and discover special deals, giveaways and activities along the way. Every five merchant signatures earns an entry into the $500 cash giveaway, with extra signatures for purchases. The night will also include a restaurant stroll, swag bags, costume contest and witches dance, along with special promotions and surprises from participating businesses throughout the district. Fire Truck Parade: 7-8 p.m. in downtown Holland. Kick off Fire Safety Week in early October with this family fun event. Watch over 50 fire trucks roll down Eighth Street. Fire trucks will then be on display and safety demonstrations will be given at the Holland Civic Center Place. It will begin at the corner of Eighth Street and Columbia Avenue then travel down Eighth Street to the Civic Center. After the parade The Holland Area Fire Prevention Council will present a number of fire safety events at the Civic Center.

Netherlands “Klok” Runs at Noon: Noon at Holland Museum, 31 W. 10th St., Holland. See the wonderful moving parts of the Netherlands “Klok” from the 1939 World’s Fair. The Klok runs on the first Saturday of every month at noon for one minute. (Included with Holland Museum Admission)
Pumpkin Train: 1-2:30 p.m. at 306 Main St., Coopersville. A West Michigan Fall Family Tradition. Hop aboard the famous Pumpkin Train for a fun-filled ride from Coopersville to Marne and back. Costumes are encouraged as the Pumpkin and her goofy sidekicks entertain the whole family. Kids receive a special gift and candy at the end of the ride. Premium Class includes table seating, locally sourced cider, and a famous “Delly Belly” pumpkin-themed donut.
Oktoberfest Express Train: 3:30-5 p.m. at Coopersville and Marne Railway, 306 Main St., Coopersville. Don your Bavarian hats and lederhosen and hop aboard the vintage train at the Coopersville and Marne Railway for a festive Oktoberfest celebration. Washington Square Fall Block Party: Noon-3 p.m. at 1100 Block Washington Ave. East Side. Grand Haven. Celebrate fall with cider, doughnuts, music, bubbles, art, The Hotdog Cart & more. Downtown Holland Trick-Or-Treating: 10 a.m.-noon in downtown Holland. Children are invited to wear their Halloween costumes and trick-or-treat in downtown Holland while supplies last. Over 50 different downtown Holland businesses and organizations will be handing out candy that morning. Trick-or-treating will be held rain or shine. Honor the rich traditions of Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) with the Holland Museum and Latin Americans United for Progress at this vibrant, festive, and family-friendly celebration. Knee-high Naturalists: 10-11:30 a.m. at Outdoor Discovery Center, 4214 56th St., Holland. Knee-high Naturalists introduce the wonders of the natural world to young children. Crafts, activities, books, snacks, live animals, and outside exploration will be incorporated into their nature-based learning experience. Parents can drop off their 4- to 6-year-old or stay with the class. Parents or guardians are asked to attend with their 3-year-old to help with bathroom use and transitioning into a group learning environment. Suggested age range is 3-6 years old. Guardians drop children off or stay with the class. Registration is required. Register and pay for attending children only (except infants). Fee: $10 per child, $5 for members.
Zeeland's Trick or Treat: 3-5 p.m. in downtown Zeeland. Trick-or-treat on Main Street. Enjoy cider and donuts, trick-or-treat at participating businesses, and photo stations to snap a picture. Thank you to our downtown businesses for making this event happen. While supplies last.
