Elderly man injured after car leaves roadway, crashes
An 82-year-old Hamilton man was injured Thursday evening after a car he was driving crashed into a business parking lot.
HOLLAND TWP. — An 82-year-old Hamilton man was injured Thursday evening after a car he was driving crashed into a business parking lot.
At about 6:15 p.m., the Ottawa County Sheriff's Department responded to a single-car crash in the area of Felch Street and VanOmmen Drive.
The initial showed that the man's vehicle was traveling westbound on Felch Street when it left the roadway to the north and crashed into items in the Lowes' parking lot.
The driver was unresponsive upon paramedics' arrival and was transported to a local hospital.
The Holland Township Fire Department and AMR ambulance service assisted on the scene.
The crash remains under investigation, authorities said.
