HOLLAND — Hyperion Automation has expanded its Holland facility, adding 2,750 square feet of office space to support the rapid growth of its team and ongoing development in advanced automation.

The company provides custom automation solutions that help distributors and manufacturers create better, faster and safer work. Its projects include self-driving vehicles, robotics, vision systems and full-system integrations.

Over the past year, Hyperion has hired additional staff to keep up with growth, and continues hiring for engineering and technical roles.

The recent second-floor buildout creates space for 18 additional employees, supporting the company’s planned 20% growth for 2026. This expansion comes on the heels of Hyperion's 2022 move into a new 15,000-square-foot facility in Holland, which doubled the company’s footprint. The latest addition of office space reflects its continued growth in staff and project scope.

“We’re continuing to invest in our team and grow with the automation industry,” said company President Jeremy Wright. “The new space accommodates these needs by giving us more room to collaborate, problem-solve, and ultimately, take on bigger, more complex challenges.”

The added space increases Hyperion’s capacity to take on custom integrations in robotics, AMRs, vision systems and additional applications. It also includes workstations, a breakroom with a kitchen and space for collaboration.

The company also offers internships through the Ottawa Area Intermediate School District and sponsors local robotics teams, providing students with hands-on experience in real-world automation projects.

“Working with the next generation of problem solvers has us excited about the growth of automation in West Michigan and how we can invest in our local talent base,” said Troy Mohrland, the company’s vice president. “Our work with autonomous mobile robots is opening new possibilities for manufacturers looking to boost efficiency and adapt to evolving demands in competitive industries.”
