Indiana man arraigned on attempted murder charges after Robinson Twp. shooting
A 21-year-old Indiana man has been arraigned on multiple felony charges, including assault with intent to murder, following a weekend shooting that injured five teenagers and young adults at the Bass River Recreation Area.
ROBINSON TWP. — A 21-year-old Indiana man has been arraigned on multiple felony charges, including assault with intent to murder, following a weekend shooting that injured five teenagers and young adults at the Bass River Recreation Area.

Jamison Cuttino, of Elkhart, Indiana, appeared in 58th Grand Haven District Court on Tuesday, July 28, before Judge Craig Bunce. In addition to the attempted murder charge, Cuttino faces four counts of assault with intent to do great bodily harm and weapons offenses. A judge set his bond at $100,000 cash/surety, and he remains held in the Ottawa County Jail.
The charges stem from a late-night incident on Sunday, July 26, when Ottawa County Sheriff's deputies responded to reports of gunfire at the park in Robinson Township.
Investigators at the scene identified five victims with gunshot wounds: four males aged 15, 15, 17, and 19, and a 16-year-old female. Authorities are withholding the victims' names due to their age and privacy concerns.

Four of the victims have since been treated and released from local hospitals. The 16-year-old female remains hospitalized, but is expected to survive her injuries, according to law enforcement.
Cuttino was taken into custody the night of the incident, and charges were formally authorized by the Ottawa County Prosecuting Attorney's Office following an initial review.
