Road Opened: Eighth Street, Holland
Eighth Street between Waverly Road and Paw Paw Drive has officially reopened to traffic as of Thursday, Oct. 22.
HOLLAND — Drivers navigating the eastern corridor of Holland will see some relief alongside continued detours as city officials update traffic restrictions on 8th Street.
According to a temporary traffic control order issued by the City of Holland, Eighth Street between Waverly Road and Paw Paw Drive has officially reopened to traffic as of Thursday, Oct. 22.
However, motorists should prepare for ongoing delays nearby. The adjacent stretch of Eighth Street between Waverly Road and US-31 will remain closed through Thursday, Nov. 5.
City officials noted that project timelines and road reopenings remain subject to change depending on weather conditions and unforeseen delays. Drivers are advised to exercise caution and follow all posted traffic control signs in the affected areas.
