Recovery Fest is an annual celebration to recognize National Recovery Month and the positive impact that recovery from mental health and substance use disorders has on individuals, families and our community.

The Recovery Fest Planning Committee announced a community design contest to honor and celebrate recovery in Ottawa County. The winning design will be featured on T-shirts printed at this year’s event, and the winning artist will be recognized as well.

Drawings need to capture the essence of what recovery means to them or something recovery-related. They need to be designed in black ink or black pencil on 8.5-inch by 11-inch paper or in a digital file. Entries are due by Thursday, Aug. 21.

To submit a design in person, drop off at any of the following locations:

  • Community Mental Health (12265 James St., Holland or 1111 Fulton St., Grand Haven)
  • Reach for Recovery (483 Century Lane, Holland or 700 Washington Ave., Suite 220, Grand Haven)
  • Sobar Recovery Community Center (347 Hoover Blvd., Holland)
  • Recovery Court (414 Washington St., Suite 300, Grand Haven)
  • 58th District Court Probation (85 W. Eighth St., Holland)
  • Samaritas (2450 Van Ommen Drive, Suite C, Holland)

Submit designs electronically in a digital file or photo to cmhcustomerservices@miottawa.org

Or mail unfolded artwork to:

CMH Customer Services
12265 James St.
Holland, MI 49424

All submitted entries will be proudly displayed at the Recovery Fest event on Sept. 11 at the Holland Civic Center from 3-6 p.m. The public is invited.
