GRAND HAVEN — The Grand Haven Area Community Foundation has announced key changes to its leadership team, appointing two new members to its board of trustees while honoring two outgoing members for their years of service.

Renee Denslow and Terry Nash will join the board, bringing decades of combined experience in finance, real estate and nonprofit management to the organization, which ranks among the top 100 community foundations in the nation.

Renee Denslow

Renee Denslow joins the trustees with over 20 years of leadership experience across multiple sectors. She recently served as executive director of Bluebird Cancer Retreats of West Michigan and is the founder of 3D Homes LLC, a residential and commercial design firm. Denslow is already familiar with the foundation's operations, having previously served on its grants committee.

Terry Nash

Terry Nash, managing director at Coach Road Capital, steps into his new role with a strong background in investment strategy and regional banking. Nash, a Spring Lake resident, has previously contributed to the GHACF through his work on both its audit and investment committees.

"We are thrilled to welcome Renee and Terry to the Board of Trustees," said Natalia Kovicak, board chair of GHACF. "Their leadership, professional expertise, and passion for community impact will help guide the foundation’s work in the years ahead."

Honoring decades of service

The transition comes as long-serving board members Mary Carole Cotter and David Swain conclude their terms. Foundation leadership praised the duo for their strategic guidance and commitment to local philanthropy.

"Mary Carole and David have made lasting contributions through their thoughtful leadership," Kovicak noted, expressing deep gratitude for their impact on the lakeshore community.

Hadley Streng, president and CEO of GHACF, emphasized that the organization's success relies heavily on its network of nearly 100 volunteer board and committee members.

"Their time, insight, and leadership play an essential role in advancing our mission," Streng said.
