Robert "Bob" Jerald Davidson
December 11, 1953-June 4, 2026
Robert "Bob" Jerald Davidson, age 72, of Grand Haven, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at home.
He was born on December 11, 1953, to Earl and Vivian (Jacob) Davidson.
Bob graduated from Fruitport High School, Class of 1972. He then received his associate's degree from Baker College of Muskegon and went on to serve in the US Army from 1972 to 1977. Bob married the love of his life, Linda Lee Farran, on June 27, 1980, in Muskegon, Michigan.
First and foremost, Bob loved his Lord and loved sharing his faith with whoever crossed his path. Bob was a real people-person and if you didn't know him, you were his friend after meeting him.
Bob retired from Century Foundry in Muskegon, was a member of Hope Church Grand Haven, and former member of Fellowship Reformed Church in Muskegon. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a loyal and passionate fan of Detroit Lions football, University of Michigan football, and Detroit Tigers baseball.
Bob will be forever remembered and missed by his loving wife of 45 years, Linda; his son, Robert (Stacy) Davidson of Hudsonville; three grandchildren, Alan, Ajay, and Nevaeh; his sister, Sue (Kurt) Richards; and his sisters-in-law, Betty Hall, Diane Reeths, and Janet Farran.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Eric Davidson; and in-laws: Gordie (Carol) Farran, Nancy (Charlie) Hawrysz, Henry Hall, Tom (Edna) Farran, Paul Reeths, and Bob Farran.
The celebration of life for Bob will take place at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at Hope Church, with Pastor Tim Taylor officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Per Bob's request, please consider wearing your favorite sports team or movie attire.

Kimberly Kolean Egan
October 1, 1953-June 2, 2026
Kimberly (Kim) Egan, age 72, wife of Jay Egan for 45 years, died Tuesday, June 2, 2026, of cancer.
Kim was preceded in death by her parents, Leon Kolean and Doreen Haiker, as well as her best friend, Estela Lane.
In addition to Jay, Kim will be remembered by her brother, Todd (Katie) Kolean; sister, Leeann Howe; son, Sean (Christy) Egan; grandchildren Hailey (Austin) Adams, Rylee Egan, and Aidan Egan; great-grandchildren James Egan and Denver Adams; special friend, Deb Knoohuisen; co-workers, and many other friends and family.
Kim was a lifelong Union activist for workers’ rights and participated in organizing, boycotting, or other pro-worker activity, including serving as executive vice president of the Communications Workers of America (CWA) Local 4034 for over 20 years. In this role, Kim was an expert benefits representative. Her dedication to workers’ rights never wavered and she ensured union workers received all the benefits they were entitled to through the union contract or law.
Also, she was a lifelong Democrat who gave her time and talents volunteering for phone banks, distributing candidates’ literature, knocking on voters' doors, and doing anything else candidates asked her to do to ensure that pro-worker and pro-Union candidates won their elections.
In addition, Kim led by example for women’s rights, including the right to vote. Kim never missed an election in her lifetime, including local, state, or national elections. She would even drive in from vacations to ensure that she exercised this right, and was sure to educate all on the importance of participating in our democracy.
A great wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, chef, activity planner, event planner, gardener, and more, Kim was a friend to countless and a great teacher to more.
Visitation with friends and relatives will take place from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at Cook Memorial Chapel, 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville MI, 49418. Interment will take place in a private ceremony on Wednesday, June 10.

Ronald "Ron" James Ferguson
January 30, 1950-June 4, 2026
Ronald "Ron" James Ferguson, age 76, of Spring Lake, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at Newaygo County Compassion Home.
He was born on January 30, 1950, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Donald and Virginia (VanAkker) Ferguson. Ron married Jean Lee McCully on September 5, 1969, in Detroit.
Ron graduated from Redford High School in Detroit and then attended both Muskegon Community College and Eastern Michigan University. He proudly served his country in the Army National Guard and was an active member of St. Patrick - St. Anthony Catholic Parish for many years.
Ron worked as a telecommunications specialist for GTE/AT&T for many years before his retirement. In his retirement, Ron worked for the Muskegon Heights Branch of the Muskegon Area District Library.
Ron was an avid golfer who was a fan of all Michigan sports teams, including the Detroit Lions, Detroit Tigers, Detroit Red Wings, and U of M. Throughout the years, he even coached many local sports teams in various sports.
Ron enjoyed going on his casino "Blackjack" trips, watching old movie classics, and distributing gifts and food baskets for the annual White Lake Giving Tree. He especially loved watching his grandchildren participate in all their activities and sports.
Ron is forever remembered and missed by his loving wife of 56 years, Jean; his three daughters, Deborah Ferguson-Fitch (Adam Fitch), Dana (Clayton) Darrow, and Darci Ferguson; his two sons, Ronald (Janelle) Ferguson and Randall (Lauren) Ferguson; nine grandchildren, Summer and Courtney Darrow, Jordan Bledsoe, Ryan, Joey, Collin, Lucas, Charlotte, and Reese Ferguson; and two sisters, Joan (Thomas) Esposito and Noreen Ferguson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Jon and Donald Ferguson.
The memorial mass for Ron will take place at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 12, 2026, at St. Patrick Church of St. Patrick - St. Anthony Parish, with Fr. Dan Schumaker officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

Henry Viening

Henry Viening, age 79, of Zeeland, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2026.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Norma; his children, Jeff Viening, Kevin and Jennifer Viening, and Chad and Danielle Viening; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Spencer and Jada Viening (Leighton, and Grace), Caleb Viening and Sarah De Jonge (Psalm), Beck Viening, Kaela and Tom Cramer (Tayleigh, and Raelynn), Keagen Viening, Jazlynn and Jacob Murillo (Waverly), Juliet Viening and Nathaniel Van Dussen, Craven Viening, and Cohen Viening; his brother, George Viening; his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Judy Viening, Judy Mokma, Bill and Mary Nykamp, Garry and Beth Nykamp, Sandy and Jim Van Dragt, Phyllis Nykamp, and Linda and Mark Molewyk.
Henry was a longtime member of First Reformed Church in Zeeland. He worked for many years at Haworth and retired from there.
Henry enjoyed reading, listening to music (especially the Gaither’s) and he was a prayer warrior. Henry loved to take pictures (but never wanted his picture taken) and he enjoyed scrapbooking. Henry especially loved his grandchildren and attending as many of their activities as possible.
Visitation will be 1-4 p.m. Sunday, June 7, 2026, at Yntema Funeral Home, 251 S. State St., Zeeland. Henry’s funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday, June 8, 2026, at First Reformed Church, 125 East Lincoln, Zeeland. Interment will be in Zeeland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Upward Bound Ministries.
