BACKGROUND: James Street at 120th Avenue in Holland Township will be closed beginning Monday, Sept. 21, for permitted sanitary sewer improvements.
This work is scheduled to last through late November. All dates are tentative, and work is weather-dependent.

TRAFFIC IMPACT:
Local traffic will have access as follows:
- 120th Avenue from Lakewood to James will have access from the south via Lakewood Boulevard. 120th Avenue from Lakewood to James will continue to have one northbound lane open from Lakewood Boulevard to Garden Avenue. Local traffic will enter 120th from the south at Lakewood Boulevard, head north on 120th, and exit via Garden Avenue back to Lakewood Boulevard. Local traffic south of the James and 120th intersection and north of Garden Avenue will have access north of Garden Avenue with two-way traffic to enter and exit. The two-way traffic zone will also be redirected to Garden Avenue when exiting.
- 120th Avenue from Riley to James will have access from the north via Riley/Felch.
- James Street from US-31 to 120th will have access from the west via US-31.
- James Street from 112th to 120th will have access from the east via 112th.
