GRAND HAVEN — Drivers will need to navigate around a temporary road closure in Grand Haven this week as a section of Seventh Street shuts down for construction.

Beginning Monday, Nov. 2, Seventh Street will be closed to traffic between Columbus Avenue and Washington Avenue. The closure will allow crews to install utilities associated with the 633 Washington development project.

The road is expected to reopen by Friday, Nov. 6.

City officials are asking motorists to follow the designated detour signs posted around the work zone.

Residents with questions regarding the closure can contact Logan Cuddington, the city's streets and utilities manager, at 616-847-3493.
