BACKGROUND: On Monday, April 6, 48th Avenue between Warner Street and Bliss Street in Allendale Township will be closed for a culvert-replacement project.
This closure is estimated to last through April 7; however, all work is weather-dependent and completion times are subject to change.
TRAFFIC IMPACT: There will be no posted detour route.

WHERE: Warner Street, at 53rd Avenue, Allendale Township
WHY: Culvert replacement
BACKGROUND: On Tuesday, April 7, 2026, Warner Street at 53rd Avenue in Allendale Township will be closed for a culvert-replacement project.
This closure is estimated to last through April 8; however, all work is weather-dependent and completion times are subject to change.
TRAFFIC IMPACT: There will be no posted detour route.

WHERE: 36th Avenue, Truman Street to Sherman Street, Chester Township
WHY: Road resurfacing
BACKGROUND: Beginning the week of April 6, contractors for the Ottawa County Road Commission are scheduled to begin work on a resurfacing project on 36th Avenue between Truman Street and Sherman Street in Chester Township.
Work is expected to last through early May; however, all work is weather-dependent, and completion dates are subject to change.
TRAFFIC IMPACT: Traffic will be maintained using temporary lane closures under flag control during work hours. Be prepared for possible delays when traveling through this area while work is taking place.

WHY: Sanitary sewer
BACKGROUND: On Monday, April 6, John F. Donnelly Drive between Greenly Street and Quincy Street in Holland Township will be closed for permitted sanitary sewer work.
This closure is estimated to last through May 15; however, all work is weather-dependent and completion times are subject to change.
TRAFFIC IMPACT: A detour route will consist of Quincy Street to 136th Avenue to Riley Street.
