Unity Christian routs Vicksburg to reach state football final
Unity Christian High School is heading to the Division 4 state football final next week after defeating the Vicksburg Bulldogs 45-17 on Saturday afternoon.
CALEDONIA — Unity Christian High School is heading to the Division 4 state football final next week after defeating the Vicksburg Bulldogs 45-17 on Saturday afternoon.
With the win, the Crusaders advance to the state final, facing off against Divine Child at 12:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 28, at Ford Field.
The Crusaders will play Dearborn-based Divine Child High School (12-1), which beat Goodrich High School 10-7.

Unity Christian moves to 12-1 on the season with its fourth playoff win, having previously beaten Holland Christian, Spring Lake and Big Rapids.
The Crusaders have advanced to the playoffs 15 times since 2008. This year, they won the regional crown for the first time since 2021. They are seeking their second state championship to go with the banner they hoisted in the 2018 season when they won the Division 5 championship.
