UPDATE: Missing Georgetown Twp. woman found safe
An Ottawa County woman has been found safe in Allegan County after disappearing from her Georgetown Township home on Tuesday, Oct. 6.

GEORGETOWN TWP. — An Ottawa County woman has been found safe in Allegan County after disappearing from her Georgetown Township home on Tuesday, Oct. 6.
On Oct. 7, the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office issued a missing person news release, asking for the public’s help to locate a missing 75-year-old Mary Roe.
Roe had left her Georgetown Township residence on Oct. 6 and had not been seen since 1:45 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators noted that Roe suffers from dementia and was considered endangered.
On Thursday, the sheriff's office said Roe had been located safely and that she was being evaluated by medical staff and would be reunited with her family.
