Bill Steffen's weekday forecast: Jan. 12-16

• Monday will be dry, but precipitation will return Tuesday with rain showers that will turn into snow by Tuesday evening.
• Temperatures will rise to the mid-40s on Tuesday, but will drop into the low 30s by Wednesday, which will convert the rain showers into snow showers.
• Temperatures will continue to drop into the high teens to low 20s.
• Thursday is expected to be dry, but Friday will see additional snow showers, with 1-3 inches expected through the end of Saturday.
