Closed session
Per the meeting agenda, the board went into closed session for the purpose of the "Ratification of Paraprofessional Bargaining Agreement."
Discussion items
The meeting began with two presentations. The first was an AP Environmental Science student-led presentation, and the second was an update on career and technical education course offerings at the high school.
Upon completion of the action items on the agenda, Superintendent Dennis Furton introduced discussion/information items related to proposed changes to the initial recommended course of action for the middle school tennis courts and Hickman Field — also located on the middle school campus — and invited questions and discussion from board members.
