No injuries reported after truck crashes into ambulance
No injuries were reported after a truck failed to yield to an ambulance with its lights and sirens on on Thursday morning in Allendale Township.
ALLENDALE TWP. — No injuries were reported after a truck failed to yield to an ambulance with its lights and sirens on on Thursday morning in Allendale Township.
Just before 5 a.m. on May 21, the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to the intersection of Lake Michigan Drive and 48th Avenue for a two-vehicle crash involving an ambulance.

Police said a LIFE ambulance was traveling westbound on Lake Michigan Drive with its lights and sirens on. As it approached the intersection of 48th Avenue, the driver cleared the intersection and proceeded forward.
As it was going through the intersection, a 45-year-old Hudsonville man, driving a 2013 Chevy Equinox, was traveling northbound on 48th Avenue and failed to yield to the ambulance, hitting the ambulance.
No injuries were reported from all those involved in the crash.
This crash remains under investigation.
