Police said a LIFE ambulance was traveling westbound on Lake Michigan Drive with its lights and sirens on. As it approached the intersection of 48th Avenue, the driver cleared the intersection and proceeded forward.

As it was going through the intersection, a 45-year-old Hudsonville man, driving a 2013 Chevy Equinox, was traveling northbound on 48th Avenue and failed to yield to the ambulance, hitting the ambulance.

No injuries were reported from all those involved in the crash.
