An Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office patrol vehicle was involved in a multi-vehicle injury crash Thursday afternoon at an intersection in Olive Township, authorities said.
OLIVE TWP. — An Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office patrol vehicle was involved in a multi-vehicle injury crash Thursday afternoon at an intersection in Olive Township, authorities said.
Emergency responders were dispatched to the area of 96th Avenue and Tyler Street shortly before 3 p.m. Oct. 8 following the collision between the cruiser and a second vehicle.
Multiple emergency units remained on the scene working to manage traffic, clear wreckage, and launch an initial investigation into what caused the crash.

The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that the Michigan State Police will take over the primary investigation into the incident.
