The weather for Memorial Day weekend observances always seems to be touch-and-go, and this year will be no exception.

A general 0.50-2.00 inches of rain is expected in many areas, with the best shot for a soaking rain coming from Friday night through Sunday.

• Sunday: Intervals of clouds and sunshine. High of 64 degrees. In the evening, cloudy skies, with a low of 52 degrees.
• Monday: Partly sunny and warmer with a chance of showers. In the evening, mainly clear with a low of 58 degrees.
• Tuesday: Mostly cloudy and warm with a high 79 degrees. In the evening, expect mainly clear skies, with a low of 59 degrees.
