Discover the beauty and meaning behind traditional Dutch clothing in this new exhibit featuring authentic attire from a museum in the Netherlands. Explore how fabric, fashion, and heritage come together in this celebration of culture and craftsmanship. Art in Bloem Fine Art Exhibit: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at Holland Area Arts Council, 150 E. Eighth St., Ste. 200, Holland. The First Bloem Festival Artwork Competition is an annual event hosted by Tulip Time to select the official poster for the festival. Artists from Ottawa, Allegan, Kent, Muskegon, and Kalamazoo counties are invited to submit up to three works. The winning artwork will not only become the official festival poster but will also be featured on Tulip Time merchandise. 

Quilt Show: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at Midtown Center, 96 W. 15th St., Holland. The Tulip Time Quilt Show will put West Michigan quilters’ artistry on display for all to appreciate at Midtown Center in Holland. Over 100 exquisite quilts will be hung for patrons to enjoy up close. Every cut, stitch and pattern will showcase the quilter’s skill and experience in an increasingly rare craft. We even have a scavenger hunt for children. Guests can vote on their top two favorite quilts and will be able to purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win a one-of-a-kind quilt. $10. Dutch Lunch and Dance Performance: 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at Evergreen Commons, 480 State St., Holland. This meal includes delicious traditional Dutch dishes, such as pea soup and pig in the blankets, as well as some refreshing Dutch slaw and an irresistible Dutch dessert. You are sure to enjoy a taste of the Netherlands with this delectable spread. This experience begins at 11:30 a.m. and lasts for 90 minutes. But it's not just about the food — you'll also be treated to a Dutch Dance Style Show while you eat. The famous Dutch Dancers of Holland, Michigan, will perform their signature Dutch Klompen Dance, which features the dancers wearing wooden shoes known as klompen. You'll also get a chance to see their authentic replica Dutch Costumes, which are sure to impress. Carnival: 5 p.m.-midnight at Holland Civic Center Lot, 150 W. Eighth St., Holland. Carnival Midway returns to Tulip Time to create fun, joy, and thrills for the whole family. With carnival rides and games, this annual favorite is an excellent source of entertainment for kids and adults. Guests can once again enjoy their favorite festival foods throughout Tulip Time. The main concession area will be located near the Civic Center downtown, with additional vendors scattered throughout the surrounding streets. Visitors can expect a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. ATTENTION! No unaccompanied minors at this event; anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent. No drop-offs.

Love Story - A Tribute to Taylor Swift: 7-8:30 p.m. at Holland Civic Center, 150 W. Eighth St., Holland. Experience the Ultimate Taylor Swift Tribute with Rikki Lee Wilson and Love Story. The Tulip Time Run offers an event for everyone — a 5K, 10K, and Kids’ Fun Run. And, back again, is the Tulip Time Virtual Run. If you cannot make it to Holland, Michigan, for the Tulip Time Festival, run a 5K or 10K as your schedule permits, on any course of your choosing. It’s a great way to get the whole family involved. Holland American Legion Band Concert: 7-8:30 p.m. at West Ottawa High School Performing Arts Center, 3685 Butternut Drive, Holland. Our Tulip Time concert celebrates the melting pot of styles that comprises America’s 250 years of musical history. The First Bloem Festival Artwork Competition is an annual event hosted by Tulip Time to select the official poster for the festival. Artists from Ottawa, Allegan, Kent, Muskegon, and Kalamazoo counties are invited to submit up to three works. The winning artwork will not only become the official festival poster but will also be featured on Tulip Time merchandise. 

Quilt Show: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at Midtown Center, 96 W. 15th St., Holland. The Tulip Time Quilt Show will put West Michigan quilters’ artistry on display for all to appreciate at Midtown Center in Holland. Over 100 exquisite quilts will be hung for patrons to enjoy up close. Every cut, stitch and pattern will showcase the quilter’s skill and experience in an increasingly rare craft. We even have a scavenger hunt for children. Guests can vote on their top two favorite quilts and will be able to purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win a one-of-a-kind quilt. $10.
