JAMESTOWN TWP. — A two-vehicle collision sent two children to a local hospital Saturday afternoon after a driver failed to stop at an intersection in Jamestown Township, according to authorities.
Emergency crews, including the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office, Jamestown Township Fire Department, and LIFE EMS, were dispatched around 4:04 p.m. to the intersection of 40th Avenue and Greenly Street.
Investigators say a 69-year-old Hudsonville woman was driving westward on Greenly Street in a 2021 Nissan Rogue when she blew through a stop sign at 40th Avenue. The Nissan broadsided a southbound 2019 Honda Odyssey driven by a 36-year-old woman from Zeeland.

The force of the impact forced the Odyssey off the western side of 40th Avenue, where it came to rest in a ditch.
Neither driver reported injuries at the scene. However, two of the four children riding as passengers in the Odyssey were transported to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
The incident remains under investigation by the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office.
