Woman injured after car leaves road, crashes through yards, fences in Grand Haven Township
The Ottawa County Sheriff's office is investigating a single-vehicle rollover crash that sent a driver to the hospital on Wednesday evening in Grand Haven Township.
GRAND HAVEN TWP. — The Ottawa County Sheriff's office is investigating a single-vehicle rollover crash that sent a driver to the hospital on Wednesday evening in Grand Haven Township.
Just after 7 p.m. on April 22, deputies responded to a report of a crash. Police said a black GMC Acadia with only one occupant was traveling westbound on Mercury Drive near Meadowlark Drive. Witnesses said the vehicle had continuously struck the curb prior to going off the road.
The vehicle then collided with a riding lawn mower that was parked on a lawn and unoccupied. The vehicle continued to travel off the roadway, across the yard and into a row of small trees. The vehicle continued to cross into a second yard collided with a front yard fence, through a back yard and came to rest on top of a back yard fence.

The female driver, a 42-year-old Grand Haven woman, showed no visible injuries, but was in and out of consciousness, police said. She was not able to explain what happened to the police and was transported to Muskegon Trinity Health for treatment.
No other people were injured or involved.
This crash remains under investigation by the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office.
