The show, hosted by actress and comedian Retta, known for her roles in "Parks and Recreation" and "Good Girls," features the “Ugliest House in America" tours of some of the nation's most visually perplexing properties.
The Jenison contender clearly left an indelible impression on Retta and the show's producers. According to producers, the home features “outdated shag carpet and ancient wallpaper on almost every surface throughout the house — including walls and ceilings — and in some cases, even décor.”
The grand champion of "Ugliest House in America" will win a $150,000 renovation by HGTV star Alison Victoria. The winner will be featured on the season finale, which airs June 30.
While the homeowners' identities remain private, the promise of a stunning transformation for this Jenison fixture is sure to generate local buzz.
