Ransom St., Jamestown Township

WHAT: Road closure

WHEN: Apil 24

WHERE: Ransom Street, 48th Avenue to 40th Avenue, Jamestown Township

WHY: Culvert replacement

BACKGROUND: On Friday, April 24, Ransom Street between 40th Avenue and 48th Avenue in Jamestown Township will be closed for a culvert-replacement project.

This closure is estimated to last one day; however, all work is weather-dependent, and completion times are subject to change.

TRAFFIC IMPACT: There will be no posted detour route.


Elder Drive, Wright Township

WHAT: Road closure

WHEN: Apil 28

WHERE: Elder Drive, Wilson Street to Taft Street, Wright Township

WHY: Culvert replacement

BACKGROUND: On Tuesday, April 28, Elder Drive between Wilson Street and Taft Street in Wright Township will be closed for a culvert-replacement project.

This closure is estimated to last two days; however, all work is weather-dependent, and completion times are subject to change.

TRAFFIC IMPACT: There will be no posted detour route.


128th Avenue, Holland Township

WHAT: Permitted road closure

WHEN: April 27

WHERE: 128th Avenue, Beeline Road to Riley Street, Holland Township

WHY: Sanitary sewer

BACKGROUND: On Monday, April 27, 128th Avenue between Beeline Road and Riley Street in Holland Township will be closed for permitted sanitary sewer force main work.

This closure is estimated to last one day; however, all work is weather-dependent, and completion times are subject to change.

TRAFFIC IMPACT: A detour route will consist of Felch Street/Beeline Road/Riley Street.


56th Avenue, Polkton Township

WHEN: Beginning Week of April 27

WHERE: 56th Avenue, Cleveland Street to Wilson Street, Polkton Township

WHY: Road resurfacing

BACKGROUND: Beginning the week of April 27, contractors for the Ottawa County Road Commission are tentatively scheduled to begin work on a resurfacing project on 56th Avenue between Cleveland Street and Wilson Street in Polkton Township.

Work is expected to last through late May; however, all work is weather-dependent, and completion dates are subject to change.

TRAFFIC IMPACT: Traffic will be maintained using temporary lane closures under flag control during work hours. Be prepared for possible delays when traveling through this area while work is taking place.
