The 2026 street resurfacing project in Grand Haven will begin Monday, April 27.
GRAND HAVEN — The 2026 street resurfacing project in Grand Haven will begin Monday, April 27.
The project starts with manhole removals and lowering in preparation for milling. Milling operations will also begin the same week. Paving will begin the week of Monday, May 4. Pavement markings and cleanup are scheduled the same week.
The streets being resurfaced are:
- Lake Avenue (Harbor Drive to Woodlawn Avenue)
- Harbor Drive (City Beach to Grand Avenue)
- Orchard (Ferry Street to Dead End)
- Ferry Street (Jackson Street to Fulton Avenue)
- Pennoyer Avenue (Sheldon Road to Seventh Street)
- Colfax Avenue (Sheldon Road to Cutler Street)
- Taylor Avenue (Ferry Street to Despelder Street)
Traffic will be maintained by the contractor throughout the project. There will be "No Parking Tow Away" in effect during the project on the streets listed above. Emergency services and garbage services will not be affected.
