Two teens seriously injured in three-vehicle rollover crash
Two teenagers were hospitalized with serious injuries Wednesday morning following a three-vehicle rollover crash at a busy Park Township intersection.
PARK TWP. — Two teenagers were hospitalized with serious injuries Wednesday morning following a three-vehicle rollover crash at a busy Park Township intersection.
Emergency crews — including the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office, Park Township Fire Department and AMR Ambulance — responded to the scene at Ottawa Beach Road and 152nd Avenue around 11:15 a.m. July 29.
According to sheriff's deputies, a westbound 2005 Jeep driven by a 17-year-old Holland girl ran a red light at the intersection. The Jeep collided with a southbound 2015 Chrysler Town and Country before flipping onto its roof. The upside-down vehicle then struck an eastbound 2020 Chevy Silverado before coming to a final stop.
The 17-year-old driver and her 18-year-old female passenger suffered serious injuries and were transported by ambulance to nearby hospitals. Authorities noted that neither teenager was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision.

Occupants of the other two vehicles were not injured.
The intersection was temporarily affected as first responders cleared the wreckage and investigators processed the scene.
The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office reported that the crash remains under active investigation.
