Jose Modesto Rios Nieves

José M. Rios, age 87, of Holland, died Thursday, April 9, 2026, at his home.
He was a member of Ebenezer Spanish Assemblies of God. He worked for Heinz for several years before working for Nabisco/Life Savers for 27 years.
Jose is survived by his children, Joe Jr. and Maria Rios, Michael and Yolanda Rios, Angelica Rios; six grandchildren, Cecelia Rios, Roxann and Jimmy Phanthourath, Jacob and Amanda Rios, Jessica and Tom Ortega, Elias Jr. Gonzales; 13 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; in-laws, Juanita and Joe Guzman; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at Ebenezer Spanish Assemblies of God, 157 W. 10th St., Holland. Burial will be in Pilgrim Home Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the church. Memorial contributions may be given to the Red Cross.
