The Grand Haven Buccaneers won the Division 1 state championship with three wins last week.
On June 2, the Bucs defeated Hudsonville to move to the semifinals, where they defeated Macomb Dakota to advance to the state finals.
In the finals, Grand Haven outlasted Lake Orion three games to one to win their first-ever state championship.

Girls spring soccer scoreboard
With a pair of shutouts, the Unity Christian girls soccer team won a regional championship and now head to the state semifinal.
Unity Christian defeated Vicksburg 7-0 and followed up with a 3-0 shutout win over Richland Gull Lake in the regional final.
They will play Grand Rapids Forest Hills Central in the semifinal on Wednesday, June 10.
