UPDATE: At 4 p.m. Thursday, April 16, Kelly Stewart was found alive and is being treated at a local hospital for exposure.

OTTAWA COUNTY — Authorities are using drones as part of the search for the missing Grand Haven Township woman who went for a walk on Monday afternoon and never returned.

Kelly Marie Stewart, 58, was last seen around 3:30 p.m. on April 13, leaving her residence in Grand Haven Township. According to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office, Stewart set out for a walk in the vicinity of Pinewood Drive and Wintergreen Street but has not been heard from since.

Stewart is married, authorities said, and the couple has one child.

Investigators described Stewart as wearing an all-black ensemble at the time of her disappearance, including a full-length sweater, slacks, a hat and glasses.

Authorities say the extensive search for Stewart continued Thursday morning, but yielded no new information.

“This behavior is out of the ordinary,” said Capt. Jake Sparks, referring to the length of time she has been missing.

“There are no suspects, as this is not known to be a criminal incident at this time,” he said. “However, we are not yet able to rule anything out.”

Stewart isn’t believed to have any major medical issues, Sparks said, but there are some “mental health concerns.”

Anyone with information regarding Stewart’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office. Tips can also be submitted anonymously through Silent Observer at 877-88-SILENT or via their website at mosotips.com.
